This tab is on the lower left hand side of our site. You can edit any personal information including new e-mail addresses, mailing addresses, phone numbers, etc. here. You can also use this to set up "text messaging" to be automatically sent to your phone for practices and games. Just enter your cell number and your cell provider. Text messages are sent 1 1/2 hours prior to the start of your game/practice. You can also turn OFF the messaging here as well.

At the very top of the page you see ten tabs: WYH Association, WYH Teams, Hockey Parents, Tournaments, Player Information, Coaches Corner. Team Managers, Summer Hockey Camps, Admin and Using the WYH Website. After you click on one of these tabs, the menu on the left edge of the page changes to show the options available for that tab.

WYH Association Tab

You are already on the Home page when you arrive at our web site. The left-edge menu options for the Home tab gives access to general information that applies to all members.

WYH Teams Tab

This is where you will be able to view the schedule, roster, and bulletins for your specific team. Use the drop down menus at the top to find your team. First use the "League" drop down menu to select the level your team plays at: Mite, Squirt, etc. Next use the "Team" drop down to choose the team you wish to see.

The left-edge menu options for the Team tab give you a variety of ways to look at your team's schedule. If you click on "Schedule" it will list each practice and game, in a day-by-day tabular fashion. Make sure that you click "Show Non-Games" and the schedule will include all practices as well. Click "Calendar" if you would rather view the schedule in a calendar form. The "Results" option shows results for games that have already occurred, but only if your coach or team manager enters the results. The "Multi-Schedule" feature allows you to see the schedule for several teams at one time.

Hockey Parents Tab

This section specifically addresses some of the information that Hockey Parents want to know.  This includes various hockey articles that are of interest to hockey parents. As well as info on registering players, and a host of other interesting items.  Once you click on the tab, you will see a new list along the left hand side of the different sections in this tab.  Anything with a white triangle in the corner has additional sections within.

Tournaments Tab

This section will have information on the WYH February Vacation Tournament.  There will also be a tab here for Tournaments WYH teams have competed in during the year.

Coaches Corner Tab

This tab will be used for information that the WYH Coaches will need during the year.  It will have items from both the Players Rep and the Coaches Rep.

Player Information Tab

This tab is for the players to get information on player development, skills and drills to improve their skills.

Team Managers Tab

This tab provides information that team managers need to efficiently run your team.  It includes a website instruction manual, label templates for creating rosters, and information on to how to send team stories to the local papers.

Admin Tab 

The Admin Tab is used only by the Website Administrator, Board Members, coaches, and team managers. It is password protected.

The Equipment Exchange

The Equipment Exchange feature provides an area on the website where you can post information about used hockey equipment that you would like to sell and/or exchange with other members. Please keep equipment on the "Exchange" for no more than two months.

To access the exchange, click on the "Exchange" link on the menu at the left of the IYHA home page.  You can also see current Exchange items listed on the right side of the WYH home page.

This area can also be used for Lost and Found items.  Please use the words LOST or FOUND in capital letters as the first word of the subject line to bring attention to the item.

Please note that the exchange should only be used by WYH players and parents for listing their own used equipment; it is not to be used for non-hockey advertising or any for-profit ventures.  Inappropriate listings will be immediately removed. 

Area Rinks

A printable directory of our Area Rinks is available by clicking on Area Rinks along the left hand side of the home page.  The default is to list rinks by city, but if you click on the A-Z Name column, it will re-sort by arena name.  Click on the Printable Directory link at the top of the page, and you will get a very nice printout with directions of rinks we regularly attend.  This is a great tool for new parents.  Many of the tournament rinks we frequent, as an association are also included so you don't need to search for them yourself.

Registration On-Line Tab

This tab is for use for registering a player on the site for the upcoming season.  Players will be sent a link to the team they are placed on.

Contacts Tab

This tab is where you will find the phone numbers and emails of the WYH Board of Directors of WYH.

Team Contacts Tab

This is where you can find the Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers information for each WYH Team
