Getting Started

How do I set up my Family Account?

In the upper left hand corner, you will found Sign Up and Login links. Each family will have one Family Account. Once a Family Account is created, the individual that created that account will add individual participants to Crossbar (players), and can invite other family members to be added to the Family Calendar and Manage the Account. 

Can I have more than one Family Account?

No. Each player can only be attached to one family account. If you need to add another family member or guardian to an account, you must add them individually by participant on your "Account" Page. 

How do I add another Parent / Guardian to my account?

Step #1 - Have the parent that originally registered players log into Crossbar here:


Click ‘View Details’ or the Person Icon above the participants name.

STEP #3 - Next to "Accounts" Click ‘ (+ Add) Account then enter the email address of the parent or guardian you would like to add to the specific player account.

STEP #4 - If this email address does not have a Crossbar account:  They will receive an invitation email and need to click the confirmation link to create an account.

If they already have a Crossbar account they will be registered and will be added to the players account and team emails.

What is the Family Calendar?

Once logged into the website and you have been added to your teams for the season, the Family Calendar will display all of the scheduled events for all members in your family (including coaches). You can add this calendar to your Phone or Desktop computer using the available iCal feed. The calendar is updated automatically as games, practices and events are added.

I am a coach or volunteer who does not have a child on the team. How do I get access to the team page?

You will need to make sure you have a registered account on Crossbar. Once you have registered and confirmed your email address, contact us to be added to your team.

Mobile Application

How do I access the mobile application?

You can download the Crossbar Mobile Application from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store

I can't seem to create an account on the mobile app!

You will need to create an account directly on the Waltham Youth Hockey website before you can sign in on the mobile application. You can do so by clicking here.

I don't see my team on the Mobile App.

If you do not see your team on the mobile application, it is likely because you our your child has not been assigned to their team yet in the system.

Payment and Billing

How do I register for the season?

Once you have set up a Family Account and added Participants, you can register for any seasons that are currently open. You *must* have a 2022-2023 USA Hockey # for your child before registering them for the season. To register for USA Hockey click here. 

What payment options are available?

We will accept either a full up-front payment for a season, or you can enroll in a set payment plan.

We accept major credit cards or you can do a direct debit using your banking account / routing numbers.

If you select a Payment Plan, you will be required to make a deposit and put your credit card or banking information on file (stored securely by a 3rd party.)

Payment plans are scheduled to be auto-debited on the 1st of every month based on the schedule provided at registration, with balances paid in full by October 1st.

What if I have a balance due?

Past balances that are due can be paid for and closed out on the old Waltham Youth Hockey website, available here:

Families with a balance past due will not be allowed to skate until they have been cleared.
